Coming from an artistic family with roots all the way from Canada, drawing has always been something
natural to me. I started out with lead pencils which all of my
earlier works consist of.
I moved over to
color by doing various motives on wooden doorsigns and mailboxes.
Simultaneously I made mini-clay figures and a detailed, life-sized
head. Once I had an opportunity to buy a tattoo kit for a reasonable
price and learned all I could on my own about hygiene and technique
and for a couple of years had a huge amount of tattoos made.
My next move was going digital by constructing webpages wherein
computers, the graphics are more or less unlimited.
After having
kept a distance from drawing for a couple of years, I got an urge to
get started again with my new ideas. Pastel crayons was the new
challenge that eventually got me into selling my art.

There's a
dominating technique throughout my galleries that I've developed
myself and call Nuances in Black (NIB) that has been recieved with
great response.
What defines a NIB drawing is a portrait that appears
out of the dark. An interesting fact is that all original NIB drawings are
effected by the way the light falls on them because they're drawn
with oil pastel crayons which have a glowing effect.
These drawings
are undoubtly the ones I enjoy doing the most which gives the best
insight into what I want to express.
